What are your career goals? Do you want to work as an early childhood educator in a preschool, daycare center, or other setting? Or do you want to work as an administrator or researcher? Your career goals will help you determine the type of program that is right for you.
Research Different Programs
Once you know what you want to do, research different online early childhood education programs. Read about the programs’ curricula, faculty, and support services. Talk to current and former students to get their feedback on the programs.
Visit the Campuses
If possible, visit the campuses of the programs you are considering. This will give you a chance to meet the faculty and staff, and get a feel for the campus culture.
